Here at www.HeroComm.com, we focus on The Original Series (TOS) classic Star Trek communicator prop; with black Kydex shells and a flip-open brass top. Our two main goals are 1) to assist hobbyists build more accurate copies by providing blueprints, photographs, plans and parts descriptions, and 2) helping to locate and authenticate the ten authentic real screen-used communicators built by Wah Ming Chang (Wah Chang) for Gene Roddenberry in 1966. Current owners of known surviving actual original comm props include Paul Allen (via John Dwyer) and Greg Jein (via Jim Rugg), who have static "dummy" models.  We have also aided in the rediscovery of the famous working stopwatch (stop watch) "hero" version (known by some as the "Spock Hero") that we call "Alpha."
